Engaging in research has allowed me to examine God’s creation at a level of depth I had never experienced before. As I study physiology, pain pathways, and animal behavior, I am continually reminded of the intricate design present within living systems. What began as intellectual curiosity has grown into a commitment to careful, ethical investigation that serves both animals and people. Research has taught me discipline, objectivity, and stewardship — recognizing that understanding biological systems carries responsibility, both in how we care for animals and in how further we investigate and apply what we discover.
