The Leadership Development Program served as a formal High Impact Experience focused on intentional leadership formation. Through workshops on personal values, strengths assessment, ethical decision-making, and communication, I examined how my leadership behaviors align with my stated principles and how I adapt within team environments.

Applying these lessons directly in my role as an Awana leader, with my mom as my coach, made the experience tangible rather than theoretical. Navigating real leadership scenarios required adaptability, strategic communication, and ethical awareness, reinforcing that leadership is practiced, not merely studied. LDP was impactful because it shifted my mindset from holding leadership roles to leading with clarity, accountability, and deliberate self-reflection.

Leadership Development Program (LDP) Reflection Paper

This reflection paper documents my intentional growth in leadership philosophy and self-awareness, grounded in real experiences such as my role in Awana. Through structured reflection and application of leadership theory, I examined how my values shape my decisions, communication, and team development. It represents a shift from simply holding leadership roles to leading with intentionality, ethical awareness, and accountability.

My LDP project centered on AWANA, which has been so fun to be apart of, especially with my family, whether celebrating the end of a good year or having fun with 'Favorite Sports Team' or 'Crazy Hair' theme nights.
